DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR GEM REGISTRATION

As a Seller

  • Aadhaar Card of Authorized Person/Proprietor
  • Pan Card of Company Proprietor
  • Canceled Cheque
  • GST Certificate, MSME Certificate, ISO, NSIC, Trade Mark registration (if OEM)
  • ITR Form of Last 3 Years (not applicable for Proprietor)

As a Buyer

  • Aadhaar Card of Head of Department, Buyer, Consignee, and PAO
  • Mobile Numbers of all Users — Must Register with Aadhaar Card
  • Organization detail like Department Name, Ministry Complete Address with Pin Code, and Landline Number

GeM Profile Completion

PRE-REQUISITE FOR PROFILE COMPLETION

  • Permanent Account Number of Enterprise
  • Date of Incorporation / Registration of your business.
  • CIN (Company Information Number) in case you are registering as a Private/Public Limited Company
  • Income Tax Return Details (ITR Form and ITR acknowledgment) for the last three years
  • DIPP number if you are registered under Startup India.
  • MSE Number if you are MSME.
  • Bank Details (Account Number & IFSC Code) for the account which will be used for business done on GeM
  • Billing Address with GSTIN Number (in the absence of GSTIN you will not be able to accept any orders beyond INR 2.5 lacs on GeM)

Vendor Assessment Services

Vendor Assessment Process

Vendor Assessment is mandatory for OEMs (unless exempted under VA Policy). Vendor assessment is done by RITES to assess the business entity's profile with respect to the supplying capacity and past performance / experiences etc.

The assessment includes document verification and video inspection of facilities.

It determines a supplier's capacity, credibility, and past performance.

RITES conducts the assessment on behalf of GeM as per VA Policy.

Successful vendors receive a “VA” status, enhancing trust and eligibility for government procurement.

Vendor Assessment Exemption Process

Certain category of sellers like those having Rs.500 Crore or more turnover, NSIC registered / BIS License holding manufacturers for their registered categories, Central/State PSUs, Sellers having Unique Certification Code (UCC) issued by DRDO / OFB / SITRA, Central and State Government Departments / Authorities etc are exempted from Vendor assessment. Please see Policy Document for details.

RITES using this module decides eligibility of a Seller for exemption from Vendor Assessment.

Zero fee is applicable on Vendor Exemption Assessment.

RITES takes 2 calendar days to process the request.

Brand Approval

SELLER DURING CREATION OF CATALOGUE WILL NOW GET THREE OPTIONS TO SELECT AND CONTINUE

  • We own Registered Trademark for a Brand
  • We are owner of a Brand but do not have Registered Trademark.
  • We do not own any Brand and want to apply for OEM dashboard without Brand.
